The Origin Story

I learned marketing in the classroom. I mastered it by going viral.
I grew up in rural Ohio as a first generation college student. I got to college with a communications degree and a plan: use it to get into law school and build a career in law. To pay for it, I started Calm and Scents out of my dorm room, a candle brand I built from nothing using social media and storytelling.
Then it went viral overnight. What started as a way to fund law school became something I couldn’t walk away from. I fell in love with entrepreneurship, with social media, with the process of building a brand from nothing and watching it connect with people in real time. That feeling was worth more than any law school acceptance letter. Calm and Scents grew into 50M+ organic views, 50,000+ products sold, and my own retail storefront, opened at 22, built entirely through content and community.
That experience taught me more about brand building than any classroom ever could. I know what it takes to start from zero, figure it out as you go, and turn an idea into something people actually care about.
I took that foundation and built Creative Gold Agency, where I led a team of 7+, managed 20 to 30 client accounts at a time, and worked across more than four dozen brands spanning tech startups, medspas, law firms, beauty, fashion, hospitality, real estate, and more.
What makes me different is simple: I have been on both sides. I have owned a brand and I have run the agency. I know how to come in, roll up my sleeves, and get into the weeds fast. Whether that means leading a full team of vendors and contractors from strategy through execution, or being the one behind the camera, writing the copy, and building the campaign myself, I do what it takes to bring the vision to life.
I speak Gen Z and millennial fluently. I know what resonates, what converts, and what the next trend is before it peaks. I bring the creative instincts of someone who has built something real and the strategic mindset of someone who has scaled it for others.
